Women of Sacred Heart held their annual Basket Raffle at the November meeting. Members usually work together as a team of 2 or 3 and put together a theme basket of all types of goodies. Examples of themes are: All About Chocolate, Let’s Play Cards, Diabetic Treats, etc. Those attending the meeting participated in a Chinese Auction to determine the lucky winners. The raffle in 2019 added $520.00 to the Women of Sacred Heart resources. The guest speaker at the meeting was one of the co-founders of R. Riverter Bags in Southern Pines.
