Many adults verbalize that they are worried about the faith of our young people. Why not convert our concerns to action and share the traditions and beliefs of the Catholic Faith by volunteering to teach and guide the young people of our Parish? A Sincere THANK YOU to the parishioners who donated an Easter Dinner Food Basket for Disabled Veterans or Veterans in Need. Women of Sacred Heart greatly appreciate your generosity and are very happy to report that 36 baskets were donated and distributed. A special Thank You also goes to the Knitters who donated 25 shawls and lap throws that accompanied the baskets. Many, many thanks for your generosity and support of this project.
Please join the children in saying the Rosary and crowning the Blessed Mother on Sunday, May 29th after the 10:45 am Mass. Children are invited to wear their First Communion and Confirmation clothing and join in praising the Mother of God. Adults should meet at the statue of Our lady. The children will meet in Founders Hall immediately after Mass and process, saying the rosary, to the statue. A member of the First Communion class will carry the crown and a child will crown Our Lady. We ask all parishioners to be part of this tradition. Join us in saying the Rosary as we pray for World Peace.
Women of Sacred Heart will be Crowning the Blessed Mother and attending a special Mass on Thursday, May 12 at 10:00 A.M. in the Church. Following Mass, a Box Lunch prepared by Thyme and Place will be served in Founders Hall. Please click here for more information.
Our Parish Offices will close on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 12:30 pm. The Offices will reopen on Tuesday, April 19 in observance of the Easter Holiday. We wish all of our parishioners a Blessed and Happy Easter!
The April Women of Sacred Heart Meeting will be held the third Thursday of the month on April 21 due to Holy Week being the second week of the month. It will take place at 10:00 in Founders Hall. The theme of the meeting will be A Spring Fling. Election of Officers for the 2022/2023 Program Year will also be held. Members whose last names are from A to P are asked to bring dainty sandwiches, salads or fruit/vegetable platters. Members whose last names are from Q to Z are asked to bring desserts. All women of the parish are invited. Come and bring a friend. Hope to see you on April 21st! The Board will meet at 9:00 in the Family Room.

John Hoffmann will lead a weekly discussion of CATHOLICISM. Bishop Robert Barron narrates this award-winning video series shot on-site in the Holy Land and Rome. This series explains the Catholic Faith, with group discussion and exploration of questions Catholics may have concerning their Faith. The textbook which will be frequently referred to in the discussion is The Catechism of the Catholic Church. (If you want to purchase a copy, it is available on Amazon.) It is not necessary to have the book for the class. The new program will meet on Wednesday evenings, 7:00 pm, beginning April 27 in Founders Hall. Vespers will be prayed on Thursday evenings at 6 PM during Lent in the Adoration Chapel. All are welcome to attend this ancient liturgy – Adorers, parishioners at large, others in the community who wish to gather before the Blessed Sacrament for a brief period of prayer together. Prayer booklets will be available each week. Can you spare 20 minutes mid-week for Evening Prayer of the Church with Christ and to Christ?
March 10 will be a Festive and Fun-Filled Day for the Women of Sacred Heart. Surprises galore are planned to celebrate Saint Partick at their March Meeting to be held at 10:00 in Founders Hall. You will have to attend to find out what those surprises are. All women of the parish are invited. Come, bring a friend, wear something green and join in the spirit of the day.
