Open Enrollment is underway for musicians, young and old!
After a summer musical hiatus, we are eagerly looking forward to singing again! If you have any previous experience as a singer, or if you would like to join a choir for the first time - now is the perfect opportunity! We encourage adults of all ages, high school and college students, middle schoolers, and children from second grade and up to become part of our Music Ministry.
Reading music is not a required skill (we will help you learn), but love of music is something we all share! If you have past singing experience - share it with us. If you have skill playing the keyboard or an accompanying instrument (strings, brass, or woodwinds) let us know. If you and/or your children just love to sing, tell us! Belonging to a choir is a lifelong experience. The joy of singing together is a great communal opportunity that is fun, rewarding, and prayerful.
Please click on the appropriate link below to register OR pick up one of our registration forms on the table in the lobby outside the Choir Rehearsal Room. Rehearsals begin the Wednesday following Labor Day for Children and the Sunday following Labor Day for Adults and Teens.CHANCEL CHOIR - Our adult choir sings for the 10:45 am Mass and has a rotating schedule to sing for the Sat, 4:30 pm and Sun, 8:00 am Masses. Rehearsals are every Sunday at 9:15 am, and additionally on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm during Advent and Lent.
CHILDREN’S CHOIR - Intended for Children in grades 2 through 5. Rehearses Wednesdays from 5:30 - 6:15 pm, and sings bimonthly at a predetermined Mass. Focuses on learning basic music reading skills and techniques along with exploring the meaning of many of our most beloved, traditional hymns.
TEEN CHORUS - Intended for Middle and High School singers grades 6 through 12. Rehearses Sundays from Noon - 12:45 pm, and sings bimonthly at a predetermined Mass.
