Knight of the Year 2022 is Council Warden, Ray Druss for his annual commitment to Chair the K of C NC State Raffle.
Supporting Ray with this important fundraiser is Sam Dominick who also has been involved for the last 3 years.
This year Council 11103 submitted 319 ticket stubs totaling $1,595 or a profit of $797.50 to the Council. The proceeds from our fundraising activities like LAMB (Least Among My Brethren) Chaired by Lew Nuzzie, support 16 EC (Exceptional Children) Moore County Classrooms. Other fundraising activities like the NC State Raffle, BINGO, and Council Dinners like St. Patrick’s Dinner all support the many local charities we have supported over the years.
Grand Knight Joe Chavez presents Knight for the month of January to Lou Giordano! Lou was awarded this as a result of a well-planned and executed December 2022 Adopt A Child program for 9 local EC (Exceptional Children) classrooms. We also thank the Council 11103 Brother Knights who participated as “Brothers-in-Charge” and our generous Sacred Heart Parish “Sponsors.”
Kent Siefkes, Public Relations Director/Life Director K of C Council 11103 receives Knight of the Month, February 2023 from Grand Knight Joe Chavez. His award was due to his outstanding contributions as Life Director and new responsibilities as Council Public Relations Director. Congratulations and “thank you”
Dr. Frank Hyatt, Council 11103 Lecturer, has spent a career helping others. His position as Council Lecturer is to provide guidance as well as ways to help his Brother Knights become better Catholics. Frank does this by reading short timely passages from books/scriptures and educating us on ways to save lost souls in purgatory. His dedication to this has earned him Knight of the Month for April 2023. Thank you, Frank!
