A very sincere thank you to the parishioners for their overwhelming support of our Women of Sacred Heart  Easter Food Basket Drive for needy and disabled veterans in our community.  52 baskets were donated and distributed.  In addition, 30 shawls and lap blankets were donated by the Sacred Heart Knitters.  A special thank you goes to the 3rd Grade Class at St. John Paul II  School which donated three Easter Food Baskets.  Added to each basket was a $20.00 supermarket gift card from the Women of Sacred Heart Treasury which recipients could use to buy perishable items needed for Easter Dinner.   Women of Sacred Heart received the following thank you from the Veteran Service Office: "Wow, You have outdone yourselves again this year.  On behalf of the veterans and veteran widows Thank You for the wonderful Easter baskets and blankets. It is truly a blessing.  Thank you from Moore County Veteran Service Office."
