In September, Faith Formation held a discussion Round Table to look at the Adult Faith Formation at Sacred Heart. Twenty-two parishioners attended and with Father Forbes and Terri Baldwin from the Diocese discussed what we are currently doing to increase Adult Faith opportunities. From the initial group, a working group has formed, called THE EMBERS. This group will be meeting monthly, asking all members to be active and involved. We WELCOME ANY PARISHIONER WHO WANTS TO BE A MEMBER. Often, we hear parishioners wish we had certain activities, etc. Father so often says “, I am open to a variety of activities but someone has to step up and be willing to do the work to make these programs and events happen.”
The Embers next meeting is February 15 at 6:30 pm. The meeting may be online. If you would like additional information please contact Christine Mimms at camimms@gmail.com or 336-312-2556
